Computer vision does not solve every visual task
A strong computer vision task repeats many times, has a clear visual signal and fits into an operating workflow.
If the result cannot be used by an operator, report or API, the model alone will not create business value.
What to check before development
You need sample images or video, shooting conditions, a description of errors, acceptable latency and the required output format.
It is also important to decide whether processing will happen in the cloud, on the client server or close to the camera.
Where value appears
Value comes from the full chain: event, review, log, notification, report or integration.
That is why the whole system should be designed, not only the model.
